TODAY I’M GRATEFUL

Dahlia

My hubby grew this beautiful dahlia. I’m grateful.

Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Did you ever allow the sad things in this world to overwhelm you? Sometimes it’s difficult to remember that there are things to be grateful for in our lives when we are engulfed by our ordinary everyday struggles. (I was engulfed by some of those struggles this past week, how about you?) We can choose to be grateful in spite of it all and that makes a difference in how we see our world.

My hubby says, “God paints the landscape; the only question is if we want to be in the picture or not.”

What’s your landscape look like? Can you find gratitude in the picture? Do you have a favorite quote about gratitude?
